Introduction
Fixed prosthodontics is the academic field that fabricates fixed prostheses on teeth and dental implants and also needs the comprehensive idea that takes a larger view over maxillofacial area and predicts the future in order to last the prostheses long time. Not only the bottom-up thinking but also the top-down thinking is essential; making a friction with the bottom-up and the top-down ideas is crucial to obtain the goal of comprehensive prosthetic treatment.
Under the comprehensive idea, we daily perform clinical practice, research, and education for undergraduates and postgraduates.
